Trichoderma is one such biocontrol agent, mainly used for the control of root rot diseases as well as soil borne diseases of various crops.
Trichoderma is an important biofertilizers, plant growth promoter, and biocontrol agent for plant diseases. In this study we isolated the
Trichoderma viride from rhizosphere soil of onion.
Trichoderma can be isolated by using
Trichoderma selective medium. The soil sample was collected in major onion cultivating areas of Kanchipuram and Chengalpattu districts
