Abstract: This study
investigated the effect of spraying different levels of amino acids and seaweed
on ginger plants and their impact on mineral and chemical properties in
Al-Hawija District, Kirkuk. The results showed that the application of amino
acids and seaweed extracts significantly improved the growth and development of
ginger plants, leading to enhanced mineral and chemical properties. The optimal
level of amino acid and seaweed extract application was found to be [10%], which
resulted in the highest increase in [specific mineral 5% -chemical property
10%]. The combination of amino acids and seaweed extracts had a synergistic
effect, leading to enhanced bioactive compounds and antioxidant properties in
the ginger plants. This study suggests that the use of amino acids and seaweed
extracts as a foliar spray can be a sustainable and eco-friendly approach to
improve the growth and quality of ginger plants, while also enhancing their
nutritional value.
