Methods effect on the quantity of E. coli DNA extracted for using in PCR

Author(s): Huayda K Abed

Abstract: These Methods have several advantages they are inexpensive, easy to perform, reproducible and acceptable by Molecular biology-based techniques Such as PCR.One of the more critical factors in the use of PCR is the ability to provide quality of nucleic acid template free of any inhibitory substances. Investigators have evaluated inexpensive sample preparation methods for rapidly extract PCR-Ready DNA. The objective of this work was to compare the protocols of DNA extraction from Eschrichia coli and to report the more practical, faster and less ones.SDS method can provide better DNA in terms in quality and quantity which is preferred for the amplification by the PCR. This will be helpful for diagnostic microbiologists because of the low cost and good quantity of the extracted DNA.
