Biofortification of iron in rice

Abstract: Agricultural cultivars with higher concentrations of micronutrients may help the iron deficiency that affects more than two billion people (biofortification). Fe content in rice seeds may be increased by a variety of transgenic methods, which we discuss in detail in this work. Twofold increase in Fe content in converted seeds emerged from this method's implementation.
